Before the machine arrives
- Access: does a lowboy fit? Gate width, turns and overhead lines.
- Unloading spot: firm, level ground to offload safely.
- Who receives: name someone with authority to sign the receipt.
At delivery: the 10 minutes that matter
- Walk the machine with our delivery tech: the inspection is documented together.
- Note the hour meter and photograph it — it's the basis for contract hours.
- Photograph any existing detail (scratches, tires, glass): it goes in the record and nobody argues later.
- Test the main functions with the delivery tech present.
- Save the support contact: who you call if something fails at 6 a.m. tomorrow.
During the rental
A 2-minute daily check before starting (fluids, tires or tracks, visible leaks) and report any symptom at first sign: maintenance is on us, and acting early keeps your job from waiting. Hour monitoring helps us schedule service without interrupting your shift.
At return
- Same movie in reverse: joint inspection against the delivery record.
- Return the machine reasonably clean — it inspects better and faster.
- Job running long? Say so BEFORE the end date and we'll coordinate the extension.
Frequently asked questions
What if I spot pre-existing damage?
That's what the documented delivery inspection is for: whatever is noted and photographed in the record isn't attributed to you. That's why the joint walk-around is the step you never skip.
Who handles maintenance during the rental?
We do — preventive and corrective, with hour monitoring to schedule it on time. Your part is the basic daily check and calling at the first symptom.
