Capital, west and inland: where your equipment leaves from
In Guatemala, RentaCentro has two branches. The Mixco branch, on Calzada Roosevelt in zone 7, is the dispatch point for Guatemala City and neighbouring municipalities, with direct access to the west and inland. The Quetzaltenango (Xela) branch, in zone 8, is the closest one if your site is in the western highlands.
For inland sites — Escuintla, Cobán, Zacapa, Puerto Barrios, Huehuetenango — give the municipality and village when you quote: mobilization is scheduled with that location and freight is in the proposal from the start. In Guatemala rates are handled in quetzales, including the local promotions the site publishes when one is current.
How far delivery reaches
Delivery and pickup are coordinated across Guatemala, with safe lifting and transport; freight is quoted separately based on the distance to your site. These are the cities with their own page on the site and the branch closest to each (approximate road distance: it helps you get your bearings, it isn't the route or the charge):
- Ciudad de Guatemala (Guatemala): Mixco (Ciudad de Guatemala) branch, ~15 km.
- Mixco (Guatemala): Mixco (Ciudad de Guatemala) branch, ~2 km.
- Villa Nueva (Guatemala): Mixco (Ciudad de Guatemala) branch, ~15 km.
- Quetzaltenango (Quetzaltenango): Quetzaltenango (Xela) branch, ~4 km.
- Escuintla (Escuintla): Mixco (Ciudad de Guatemala) branch, ~55 km.
- Antigua Guatemala (Sacatepéquez): Mixco (Ciudad de Guatemala) branch, ~20 km.
- Chimaltenango (Chimaltenango): Mixco (Ciudad de Guatemala) branch, ~30 km.
- Cobán (Alta Verapaz): Mixco (Ciudad de Guatemala) branch, ~125 km.
- Puerto Barrios (Izabal): Mixco (Ciudad de Guatemala) branch, ~320 km.
- Zacapa (Zacapa): Mixco (Ciudad de Guatemala) branch, ~155 km.
- Retalhuleu (Retalhuleu): Quetzaltenango (Xela) branch, ~50 km.
- Huehuetenango (Huehuetenango): Quetzaltenango (Xela) branch, ~65 km.
What equipment you can rent
The fleet is owned — not a marketplace — and regional: 128 units across 8 categories that are moved to wherever the job is. These are the machines with a page on the site you can request in Guatemala, by category (Komatsu excavators are listed only in the countries where they are):

What you need to rent
We rent to companies and to individuals. What you present changes; the service doesn't:
- Company: current NIT from Guatemala, the details of the person signing for the company and the lease signed before delivery. If you already have a credit line with Grupo ConstruMarket, it applies to the rental.
- Individual: valid ID, a security deposit — set by machine and term — and the lease signed before delivery. The deposit is returned when the equipment comes back, less any damage beyond normal wear.
What the rate includes and what's extra
- Included: the machine with preventive and corrective maintenance, hour monitoring, on-site technical support and, if the fault can't be fixed, a managed replacement. The daily rate covers 8 machine hours.
- Extra: fuel (supplied by the customer), delivery and pickup freight by distance, operator (except on rates that already include one), extra hours measured by the hour meter, damage beyond normal wear and the VAT of the country where you're invoiced.
- Currency: in Guatemala quotes are in quetzales (GTQ). If there's a current published rate, you'll see it on the equipment page and the rates page, with its validity date and whether VAT is extra; otherwise it's quoted on your term and location.
- Terms: from one day. There are daily, weekly, 15-day and monthly rates, and 6-to-24-month contracts on preferred terms.
How to get a quote in Guatemala, step by step
- Build your list in the quote form with Guatemala as the country: add each machine with the + button from its page or from this guide. If you're not sure which machine your task needs, the equipment advisor tells you in two questions.
- Put real start and end dates per machine: not every machine has to arrive on the same day.
- Write the exact address and how to get in (gate, slope, overhead lines): freight and lifting depend on it.
- Get the proposal in writing: rate, freight and terms in one document. Check whether the rate includes an operator and VAT.
- Sign the lease and receive the machine with a documented inspection: hour meter, fuel level and photos of any existing detail.

Common mistakes
- Quoting without the exact address: freight depends on distance and access.
- Assuming fuel or freight is included.
- Going by a price in an old social media post: the rate that counts is the current one, with its date.
- Ordering the machine without saying whether it comes with an operator.
- Showing up to delivery with nobody who can sign the record.
