What the rate covers
What matters about this list is what it prevents: on a rate without maintenance or replacement, you pay for the first breakdown twice — at the shop and in the stopped job.
- The machine, with preventive and corrective maintenance: a repair doesn't raise your rate.
- Hour and condition monitoring.
- On-site technical support and, if the fault can't be fixed, arranging a replacement.
- 8 machine hours per day.

What's charged separately, item by item
- Fuel: supplied by the customer. The level at delivery goes on the record and is expected back the same.
- Delivery and pickup freight: we coordinate it, with safe lifting and mobilization, and it's quoted by the distance to your site. It's in the proposal from the start, not added later.
- Operator: extra, except on rates that already include one — the equipment page says so.
- Overtime: whatever the hour meter shows beyond 8 hours a day.
- Damage beyond normal wear: misuse, accidents or lack of care on site. Normal wear and mechanical failures are on us.
- VAT of the billing country. Guatemala's published rates already include it; each published rate says whether it's added or included.

Documents and deposit: company or individual
- Company: current tax ID for the billing country (NIT/NRC in El Salvador, NIT in Guatemala, RUC in Nicaragua and Panama), details of the signatory and a lease signed before delivery. If you already have a credit line with Grupo ConstruMarket, it applies to the rental.
- Individual: current ID, a security deposit and a lease signed before delivery. The deposit is set by machine and term, and is returned when the equipment comes back, minus any damage beyond normal wear.
What's agreed before delivery
- Machine and term: by the day, week, month or long-term contract.
- Exact site address and access: freight and lifting depend on it.
- Who receives the machine on site and who will operate it.
- Delivery date and pickup date.
What counts is what's in writing
Filling in the quote form isn't a booking or a contract: it's a request for information, and your advisor confirms availability, rate and terms. The terms of each rental — maintenance, replacement, coverage, liability for damage — are governed by the written contract signed with the branch. Published rates are subject to availability and to each offer's validity. Read the proposal with this list beside you: if something isn't there, ask before you sign.
How to compare with another rental company
- Is maintenance included, or charged when something breaks?
- If the machine fails and can't be fixed on site, is there a replacement?
- How many hours does a rental day cover?
- Is freight round-trip? Is it in the proposal?
- Is VAT added or included? How long is the price valid?
Common mistakes
- Comparing the number without asking whether maintenance and replacement are included.
- Assuming the operator or freight is included.
- Treating the quote form as a booking: the rental is formalized with the contract.
- Not reading the proposal with the list of extras beside you.
Frequently asked questions
Does machinery rental include an operator?
Not by default: the operator is charged separately, except on rates that already include one — the equipment page says so. You can rent with a certified operator from our team, or bare if you have your own.
Is transport to the site included?
We coordinate it, with safe lifting and mobilization, but freight is quoted separately based on the distance to your site. It's in the proposal from the start.
How much is the deposit?
It applies to individuals and is set by machine and term; it's returned when the equipment comes back, minus any damage beyond normal wear. Companies instead present their tax ID and sign the contract.
Who pays if the machine breaks down?
We do: normal wear and mechanical failures are within the rate, with on-site support and a replacement arranged if it can't be fixed. Damage from misuse, accidents or lack of care on site is the customer's responsibility.
Does requesting a quote on the site commit me?
No. The request isn't a booking or a contract: your advisor confirms availability, rate and terms, and the rental is only formalized with the written contract.
