Which forklift should you rent?
Your load ≤ 2,500 kg, centred at 500 mm
The fleet's forklifts are 2.5-tonne Hangchas. Per the maker's datasheet they lift 2,500 kg with the load centre 500 mm from the fork face, which is the centre of a 1 m deep load set against the backrest. If the load is longer, off-centre or lifted higher on the mast, real capacity drops: the unit's capacity plate rules, not the round number.
Example: a 1,800 kg pallet 1 m deep fits with room to spare. A 2,400 kg one is at the limit: shifted or with an attachment it isn't, because per the same datasheet a sideshifter takes off 150 kg. If your load is over 2.5 t, say so when you quote.
Capacity: 2.5 t2,500 kg at a 500 mm load centre, per the Hangcha 2.5 t datasheet. It's the fleet's forklift line in El Salvador: 2 units.
Mast heightWith the standard mast, the datasheet lists 3 m of lift and 2.04 m overall height with the mast lowered. Measure the highest level you'll stack to and the lowest door it has to pass through, and confirm the unit's mast when you quote.
Combustion, for outdoorsThe fleet units are combustion trucks on pneumatic tyres: they work in yards, on sites, ramps and truck unloading, and on uneven floors or pavers.
Enclosed warehouse? Electric or pallet truckIndoors in a closed space or around food, an electric truck is the right call, since it has no exhaust, and RentaCentro doesn't have one in the fleet. For moving loads at floor level indoors there's the SIMAQ 2.5 t hydraulic pallet truck (1 in the fleet).
If the forklift goes into a semi-enclosed warehouse, make sure it's well ventilated: a combustion engine, petrol or LPG, produces carbon monoxide.
What capacity is the forklift you rent in El Salvador?

What do I need to rent a forklift?
As a company, your current NIT/NRC and the rental contract signed before delivery; as an individual, your ID, a security deposit and the contract. You also need someone trained to operate it, the site or warehouse address and the delivery and pickup dates.
Can I rent a forklift by the hour?
It rents from one day, and the daily rate covers 8 machine hours read on the hour meter. If you only need it for a few hours, for example to unload a container, say so when you quote and we'll tell you which term suits you. It also rents by the week, by the month and on 6-to-24-month contracts.
What capacity are the rental forklifts?
The fleet line is 2.5 tonnes — the standard for yards, warehouses and truck unloading on site. If your load is heavier, tell us when quoting and we'll solve it with the group.
Do they work indoors and in the yard?
Yes — forklifts for yard and warehouse, plus hydraulic pallet trucks for fine moves indoors. Tell us the surface they'll run on (concrete, pavers, dirt) so we confirm the right tire.
Can I rent by the week or only monthly?
By the day, week or month — plus long-term contracts at preferred rates if the machine stays with you 6 to 24 months.
