Light tower: when it's justified
- A planned night shift, to recover schedule or to avoid closing traffic by day.
- Pours that run long: concrete won't wait for sunrise.
- Night roadwork: together with the message board, the tower lights the work area and the board warns drivers before the cones.
- Shifts that start before dawn or end after dusk.

Which light tower the fleet has
The SIMAQ TLK6000: 9 m telescopic mast, 440,000 LED lumens and a Kubota D1105 diesel engine. It lights a full night-work front; for long fronts — a highway — several towers go in series. The fleet also has a Wacker Neuson LTV6. Quote by project: tell us the length and width of the area, and whether it's a linear front or a yard, and we'll propose how many.
Compressor: when it's justified
- Demolition with a handheld pneumatic breaker: detail work, sidewalks, interiors and spots machines can't reach.
- Pneumatic tools in general: tell us which tool you'll connect and we'll confirm the airflow is enough.
- Alongside the hydraulic breaker: the backhoe breaks the volume and the pneumatic finishes the detail. Many jobs use both.

Which compressor the fleet has
The Doosan C185: 185 CFM, single-axle towable — it goes to the work face behind a pickup — with an enclosed canopy that keeps noise down on urban sites. Before renting it, compare your tool's air consumption (in CFM) against those 185 CFM and count how many tools you'll run at once.

What to plan for with both
- Fuel: both run on diesel, and fuel is supplied by the customer.
- Where they sit: firm, level ground; the tower well clear of overhead lines before raising the mast.
- Transport: delivery and pickup freight is quoted separately, along with the rest of the equipment.
- Maintenance: it's on us. On night equipment it matters twice — a downed tower stops the whole shift.
What to give when quoting
- Night-work hours and dates.
- Length and width of the area to light, and whether it's a linear front or a yard.
- If you work on a public road: add the message board.
- Which pneumatic tool you'll connect and how many at once.
- Where they'll sit and how the trailer gets in.
Common mistakes
- Booking the compressor without checking how much air (CFM) your tool uses.
- Forgetting the diesel: both machines use it and the customer supplies it.
- Raising the tower mast near overhead lines.
- One tower for a long front: several go in series.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a light tower light up?
The fleet's SIMAQ TLK6000 has a 9 m mast and 440,000 LED lumens: it lights a full night-work front. For long fronts, several go in series.
What does the light tower run on?
The TLK6000 has a Kubota D1105 diesel engine. Fuel is supplied by the customer.
What compressor do I need for a pneumatic breaker?
Compare the tool's air consumption with the compressor's output: the Doosan C185 delivers 185 CFM. Tell us which tool you'll connect and how many at once, and we'll confirm.
How does the compressor get to the site?
It's a single-axle towable: it goes to the work face behind a pickup. If you prefer, we coordinate delivery with the rest of the equipment and the freight goes in the proposal.
Who maintains the tower and the compressor?
We do: preventive and corrective maintenance is within the rate. Your part is the basic daily check and calling at the first symptom.
